BookingOffice Version 3 released
Toplevel are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of their highly successful BookingOffice solution. Designed as a powerful generic booking tool, the system is already streamlining the booking process across functions as diverse as appointments, registrars, sports centres, entertainment, refuse, pest control, buildings inspection, public venues and internal rooms and resources.
The new release adds over 100 new functions, the top 10 being:
Provisional booking
Automated self-service cancellations, according to your business rules
Charging for additional item e.g. tea, coffee, whiteboard
Early booking discounts, multiple booking discount; in fact virtually any flexible charging pattern
Enhanced integration facilities – giving your own IT department the ability to carry out integrations and reducing reliance on suppliers
Outlook diary integration for appointments
Enhanced reporting and management information
Enhanced search and query for contact centre staff
Easier setup of resources
“Shopping basket” style control of related resources, e.g. book a room and a projector together
BookingOffice is currently being implemented in several councils, including county councils, district councils, unitary and London boroughs.
Jane Roberts, Marketing Director at Toplevel said, “The best thing about putting BookingOffice into a customer is that it demonstrably saves them time and money. That’s why the take-up has been so strong. Savings are made both when citizens make their own bookings, either over the internet or through kiosks in public buildings and when our customers centralise telephone bookings in the contact centre, freeing up departmental staff time. Ticking off BVPI 157 and the Priority Outcomes is the icing on the cake.”
