Southwark Council chooses Toplevel online booking system

Southwark Council has signed a one-year contract for Toplevel’s hosted online booking system – BookingOffice. The Council has a number of football pitches and eight tennis courts which can now be booked using the Toplevel system.

Teams and clubs can register on the Council’s website where they can make online bookings and use member management facilities to check the payments and bookings they have made over a given period. Individuals can book tennis courts online without registering.

‘We chose the Toplevel system because it was a ready made package which was simple to operate and quick to install,’ said a Southwark Council spokesperson. ‘The system will enable us comply with the government’s R13 online sports booking requirements. A big benefit for people is that they can check availability and book facilities out of office hours.’

Pitches and courts can still be booked by telephone, a process that is made quick and easy by special staff-only accelerated booking screens. The Toplevel booking system integrates easily with the Government Connect e-payment system.
