Thanet District Council chooses Toplevel BookingOffice

Thanet District Council has chosen to implement Toplevel’s online booking system – BookingOffice. Roz Edridge, Thanet’s e-Business Manager, comments: "Our objective was to provide a single booking system that could be used across all Council activities. After a quotation and product demonstration, we found that Toplevel were the only supplier providing all the functionality we needed. They were also extremely cost-effective."

Currently, a number of Council departments receive bookings using a variety of manual and PC-based systems, but a decision was taken to modernise and standardise these systems to meet the national e-government requirements.

"An initial deployment in mid-June will give us a better idea of how Toplevel’s booking system integrates with our intranet, external internet, bookings made via our call centre, and bookings made with payments," says Roz Edridge.

Toplevel BookingOffice will be integrated with the Council’s current systems including online payments, customer relationship management and e-mail.

Roz Edridge comments: "Toplevel impressed us by being able to turnaround any request or information query within a very short timescale, and they have continued to support us with a close and supportive relationship."
